Congratulations on qualifying for the PAAD State Championship! We are excited to have over 200 decathletes, coaches, and judges in Erie for what will be a wonderful competition. Below please find information about registering your teams for the competition. Only teams and individuals that have qualified in Pennsylvania at a Round 2 regional competition may register for this tournament.

Thursday, February 25 - Essay at Home Schools
Friday, March 6 - 7 objective tests
Saturday, March 7 - Speech, Interview, Super Quiz Relay, Awards Ceremony

Team Composition - 3 Honors, 3 Scholastic, 3 Varsity students, qualified Individuals
Medal Divisions: Honors, Scholastic, Varsity, Individual
Cost: $500.00 per team, $60.00 per individual - Friday night Social and Saturday Lunch included

Registration Information

STEP 1: Read the PAAD State Championship Information Memo.

STEP 2 (Due February 20): Complete the State Championship Registration at competition.usad.org, along with registration payment and relevant paperwork:

• USAD GPA Computation Forms / Official Transcripts

• Permission Slips

• Accommodation Forms

STEP 3: Review the PAAD Online Essay Instructions and make sure your students have access to compatible devices and technology. 

In most cases, these documents have already been collected and reviewed for the regional competition and sent to the state office on your behalf. Consult with your respective regional director if you believe they may need to be sent again.
